1. GENERAL TERMS
By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding product orders, shipping, returns, cancellations, and applicable fees. We recommend carefully reviewing these terms before making a purchase. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team.
2. SHIPPING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- We strive to process and ship orders as efficiently as possible. Shipping times vary depending on product availability, location, and carrier service levels.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate shipping information at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our part.
- Your street must be accessible to a tractor trailer measuring 48 to 54 feet.
- For liability concerns, delivery trucks will not enter a driveway. The delivery occurs from the street.
- Ensure that you are able to unload the cargo. A trucking company is responsible for delivering to your loading dock at a business address, or to the curbside for residential deliveries that require a lift gate. Please make sure you select liftgate option at checkout if there is no equipment to offload from trailer.
- The freight company just needs to deliver the freight to the rear of their trailer for you to unload it. Get ready for a tractor trailer 48 to 54 feet to come with your Handy item.
- If a liftgate has been set up for the delivery, the driver will lower your shipment using the liftgate, and it is your duty to handle it from that point onward.
- The freight cost does not cover inside delivery.
- Storage fees will apply if items are left at the terminal and not picked up for delivery.
What actions should I take if the freight shows scratches or damage upon arrival?
Your product will be packaged securely and wrapped for protection when we ship it. Our packaging is marked with various labels that indicate what to check before signing the freight delivery bill. You must make sure to record any damage on the freight bill prior to signing it. Recognize that the freight is addressed to you, and it is your duty to accept the delivery correctly. If you notice scratches or damage, you have two options:
- Receiving an item that has shipping scratches: Select this option if there are slight dents and scratches, or if a component requires replacement to ensure the unit is acceptable. Record any damage prior to signing the freight bill. Before signing an electronic handheld device, if you observe any damage, ask for a Damage Claim Number and be sure to record it for your claim. You are the one who will handle the filing of the freight damage claim with the carrier. Capture photographs to record the damage. If you select this option, Handy will supply any necessary replacement parts or touch-up paint, and the carrier is expected to handle the reimbursement. - Decline the item that is damaged: Select this option if you believe the carrier has caused significant harm to the freight that cannot be fixed easily. Handy will submit all claims related to freight. Obtain the freight bill from the truck driver and send it to Handy via email (sales@handyindustries.com), including a short description of the situation and any images of the damage.
3. RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
- Products may be returned under the following conditions:
- Returns must be pre-approved.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping, which must be sent freight prepaid or using an appropriate mail carrier.
- Items must be in resalable condition, unused, and in their original packaging.
- Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Returns need to be filed within 30 days of delivery. The package can be open but the product must be unused.
- Fees:
- There will be an additional shipping charge and restocking fee of 30%.
- For all parts orders, the minimum for returns is $50. For all lifts and accessories, the minimum will be 30%.
- Cancelation: A 5% fee is applied regardless of payment method. Cancelation is not accepted after a product leaves the facility.
- Refunds for duplicate orders will be charged 5%.
- Products that are returned in a used state, changed, lacking components, or in different packaging will not qualify for credit, a refund, or an exchange.
- A refund, exchange, or credit will only be provided once the product is received and thoroughly inspected.
4. RESTOCKING AND CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEES
- A minimum 30% handling/restocking fee applies to all returns of all items and will be deducted from the refunded amount.
- Returns that do not meet the above conditions may be subject to additional restocking fees or refusal.
- Credit card processing fees may be applied at checkout at our discretion, and this policy may change at any time.
- Credit card payments that require a refund may be subject to a credit card processing fee based on the card issuer’s policies.
5. UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS
- Returns that have not been pre-approved will be rejected and will not be credited. Customers must obtain return authorization before shipping any items back.
6. INCORRECT SHIPMENTS
- If you received an incorrect shipment intended for another order, Handy reserves all rights to recover the item and set up shipping to retrieve the item.
