Description
The LDA Snowplow is designed for SUVs and light trucks, easily attaching to a Class III 2″ receiver hitch. Unlike heavy front mounts, this plow can be removed after use. It pulls snow rather than pushes, using a remote control to adjust the angle while driving. With a high lift of up to 47″ and a 23″ moldboard, it’s ideal for clearing deep snow and drifts. Perfect for light commercial and personal snowplowing needs.

Hitch Recommendations
Prior to installing the Snowman model LDA and SC:
- The existing hitch and frame must be inspected for cracks and other defects. If cracks or defects are discovered in the hitch, it must be replaced before mounting the Snowman plow. If defects are found in the frame, they must be repaired prior to mounting the Snowman.
- The type of bolts that were used in mounting the existing hitch should be checked. Snowman recommends using Loctite and lock nuts on grade 8 bolts to assure maximum strength.
- The existing hitch must meet Snowman’s minimum tongue weight requirements as listed in the above chart for applicable model.
